Jonty Coy is an Australian-born flautist and researcher, currently based in the Netherlands. He holds a master’s degree in Early Music from the Royal Conservatory in the Hague and a Bachelor of Philosophy (Hons) from the UWA Conservatorium. In 2020, he was awarded General Sir John Monash Postgraduate Scholarship, generously supported by Gandel Philanthropy. Jonty has appeared as a soloist, orchestral musician and chamber musician with Apollo Ensemble, Luthers Bach Ensemble, Dordrechts Kamerorkest, Perth Symphony Orchestra, Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Australia, and both the Australian and West Australian Youth Orchestras. In addition to his flute engagements, Jonty regularly performs as a bass-baritone in professional choirs across Europe.
