The new academic year has started officially. We welcomed the docARTES promovendi in the building of Orpheus Instituut in Ghent for a two-day opening session.

The following candidates were admitted to the program and represent a new generation of artist-researchers within the docARTES community of inquiry.

  • Marie-Louise Wundling, cellist
  • Matias Mucchi Alonso, composer, percussionist
  • Nicholas Cornia, singer
  • Jonathan Chazan, saxophonist
  • Giulio Quirici, guitarist and theorbist.

In this first year, they'll attend eight monthly sessions chaired by docARTES faculty members.
